Stakeholders and the team identified that Adobe’s event presence felt “way too corporate, way too similar, and way too not‑creative” for the audiences it wanted to attract. Existing local programs blended in with generic industry events, lacking a distinct creative point of view and a clear relationship to the elevated visual world of the new Adobe identity.
FIND YOUR PEOPLE
The central brand idea is “Find your people”: Create Now exists to build genuine community that fuels creative transformation. The narrative reframes creativity from a productivity hack into something deeply personal and collectively transformative, emphasizing that the most powerful work happens when you are surrounded by people who “get it.”
A Layered Designed System
Layered Discovery is the visual language that extends the new Adobe brand into Create Now, giving the series its own recognizable energy while staying clearly “Adobe.” Layered composition with interlocking frames, photography, and typography creates a sense of depth and journey that pulls creatives into the experience, while the typography system uses Adobe Display Black to anchor primary statements and a distinctive monospace detail layer to give event information a crisp, modern edge. Instead of a rigid lockup, the layout system supports both centered and justified compositions, making it adaptable for different formats and markets, and a bold red, black, and white core palette, energized with large, layered photography, distinguishes Create Now from other Adobe surfaces while still feeling native to the master brand.
Layered Across the Ecosystem
To support clarity across multiple event types without fragmenting brand equity, the system introduces simple “connected event colors” for tracks like Design, Video, and Photo, improving scannability when multiple Create Now events appear together while staying tightly aligned to Adobe’s primary palette. The Create Now expression also ships as a robust template library so teams can build consistent experiences at speed, including social templates with post and story layouts carrying headlines like “Creativity changes perspectives,” “Create, don’t wait,” and “Create. Learn by seeing and using the latest technology. Now.” tied to specific dates and locations. A website hero pattern introduces each city event with layered imagery, the Create Now story, track tags (Design, Video, Photo), and a clear RSVP call to action, while repeatable event thumbnail and ad templates use the Layered Discovery system to display city, track, date, and a consistent Create Now mark in a grid‑friendly format.
